Class Descriptions

Beginner Yoga:

This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Class is a slower paced vinyasa flow. We will move mindfully through a sequence of yoga poses while building up strength, flexibility, and balance.  

All-Levels Yoga:

This class offers variations so that students may choose the level of difficulty most appropriate for themselves. The class will consist of a flow style vinyasa (linking movement with breath), other times there will be hatha (the yoga of opposing forces), or yin (more passive poses targeted at stretching the body's connective tissue). 

Circuit Training:

 This is a 30 minute morning bootcamp/interval training style work out. Structured with body weight exercises and band resistance and designed to build cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance.  

Power Yoga:

A faster paced style of yoga combined with strength training and cardio.  This class is designed to build strength, balance, and flexibility.  While still being aware of breath, this class will build stamina and create some heat!

Yoga Nidra/Rest and Restore:

 Combination restorative yoga with Nidra focus. This is a systematic guided relaxation where poses are held for several minutes or on some days a simple savasana pose is held throughout.  It provides a meditative quality to reduce stress.  Bring a pillow and plan to relax.

Yin Yoga:

A gentle yoga practice focusing on breath work and stretching the entire body through a slow flowing sequences and held postures. This class is an invitation to relax, unwind, and de-stress to ease into your week.
